River Gum
Species Information
Rose River Gum is prized for its lovely rose coloring with
tones from the palest pink to a deep tawny red. Rose River
Gum is a select group of fast growing hardwoods that thrive
in the warm climate of flatlands or on the lower slopes of
deep fertile valleys. Typically a very tall tree, up to 180'
in height, Rose River Gum grows in the extensive natural forests
of New South Wales and the coastal valleys of Queensland.
The
grain is straight with an occasional "scribble" pattern.
